One of the most special seasons of the Year.
In December we have the Farmer's Market Night in the 23rd. Here in the Traditional Farmer's Market the people get together, locals and turists to sing Christmas Songs and try typical gastronomy and drinks (poncha and homemade liquors).
We also have many lights and decorations in the streets of all the Island and specially in Funchal, the capital of Madeira. The lights are turned on more or less in the 13th December.
And after we have the big fireworks in The New Year's Eve in Funchal. More than 10 minutes of freworks and colours in the sky all over the Funchal Bay.
